About The Position

McMenamins Mill Creek is hiring a Line Cook. McMenamins is a family-owned company in Oregon and Washington serving handcrafted beer, wine, cider, spirits, and coffee alongside pub fare. Line cooks may handle tasks throughout the kitchen’s opening and closing operations, including preparing and presenting hot and cold food products such as salads, sandwiches, pastas, appetizers, pizzas, weekly specials, and sauté and grill items. Each cook is responsible for organizing and cleaning their work area. The role involves physical work, mental agility, and multitasking in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment, both independently and as part of a team.

The position pays $17.13–$23.13 per hour. Sundays and Monday availability are required.

Requirements

• Obtain and maintain a current food handlers card.
• Availability on Sundays and Mondays is required.
• Enjoy working in a busy, customer-service-oriented environment.

Nice To Haves

• Previous cooking experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present hot and cold food products, including salads, sandwiches, pastas, appetizers, pizzas, weekly specials, and sauté and grill items.
• Handle kitchen tasks from opening through closing.
• Organize and clean the work area.
• Work independently and as a member of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
