Lincoln Repair Team Member (Office/Shop)
About The Position
Lincoln Repair is hiring an office/shop team member to support customers and the repair operation. The role combines customer service and administrative tasks with vehicle-related work, including providing customer rides, conducting quality control on repaired vehicles, and maintaining office and shop housekeeping. The position requires safely driving and parking vehicles, learning to use a torque wrench, and performing physical tasks such as looking under vehicles and torquing wheels. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:45 AM to 5:30 PM, with up to a one-hour lunch. The business is closed on weekends.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license.
- Clean driving record and eligibility for coverage under the company’s insurance.
- Ability to prioritize tasks.
- Presentable according to Lincoln Repair standards, as the position is customer-facing.
- Ability to consistently complete daily, weekly, and monthly tasks.
- Willingness to learn how to use a torque wrench.
- Physical ability to look under vehicles, torque wheels, lift up to 50 pounds, and remain on your feet for 8 hours per day.
Responsibilities
- Answer the phone while providing a high level of customer service.
- Make appointments and accurately document customers’ concerns.
- Provide safe, efficient customer rides while maintaining pleasant conversation.
- Perform quality control procedures on repaired vehicles.
- Complete office and shop housekeeping as needed.
- Drive vehicles safely and back them into parking spaces.
