About The Position

Bagel Lovers is seeking an enthusiastic, versatile team member to work as a barista and sandwich artist in its café and bakery. Team members prepare drinks and sandwiches, welcome customers, and help keep the café clean and inviting. This is a part-time, in-person role with 25–30 hours per week and a day-shift schedule of 6:30 a.m.–2:30 p.m. Pay is $12–$14 per hour plus tips; the posting notes an average tip rate upwards of $5–$6 per hour, which is not guaranteed.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and help them feel welcome.
• Take orders accurately, including special requests and needs.
• Prepare and serve coffee and espresso drinks consistently and with care.
• Build sandwiches according to recipes.
• Maintain ingredient freshness and rotate stock.
• Keep the café clean, including clearing tables and sanitizing equipment.
• Assist with opening and closing duties.
• Educate customers about menu items, popular choices, and specials.
• Work with teammates to keep café operations running smoothly.
• Handle customer concerns professionally and positively.
