About The Position
The Mount Laurel YMCA is seeking individuals age 16 or older to work as lifeguards. The role involves keeping pool participants safe, applying safety procedures in pool and aquatic areas, and maintaining a clean, organized pool deck. Requirements
- Be age 16 or older.
- Hold an American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification or be able to pass the course.
- Have a passion for water safety and strong swimming skills.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the safety and surveillance of all pool participants.
- Understand and apply organizational safety procedures for the pool deck and aquatic areas.
- Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the pool deck, including skimming and brushing.
