About The Position

BrightStar Care is seeking an experienced, compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse to provide one-on-one private duty nursing care to a patient in their home in the Huffman, Texas area. The nurse will focus on a single patient, build a meaningful relationship with the patient and family, and provide personalized, high-quality clinical care. The role involves providing skilled nursing care, administering treatments and medications, monitoring patient status, and communicating with the care team to support continuity of care. Required clinical experience includes straight catheterizations, enteral feedings, and Baclofen pump management. The nurse will identify changes in the patient's condition, support their well-being, and help maintain a safe, comfortable home environment. The position follows a consistent 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM rotating schedule. Week 1 is Tuesday through Thursday; Week 2 is Monday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Candidates must be available for all scheduled shifts. Requirements

Active Texas LVN license.
Current CPR/BLS certification.
Reliable transportation.
At least one year of nursing experience.
Experience with straight catheterizations, enteral feedings, and Baclofen pump management.
Strong communication skills and professionalism.
Ability to work independently in a home care setting.
Availability for all scheduled shifts.
