About The Position
BrightStar Care San Antonio is hiring compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurses to provide skilled Private Duty Nursing care to patients in their homes. The role provides one-to-one patient care in a home environment and follows physicians’ prescribed plans of care. The position is available as full-time or part-time, with PRN positions also mentioned. Work is in person in the San Antonio, Texas area.
Requirements
- Hold an LVN license in good standing in the state of Texas.
- Be able to commute to San Antonio, TX 78238, as required.
- For the San Antonio, TX 78230 listing, relocate before starting work, as required.
Nice To Haves
- CD-LPN/LVN certification is preferred.
- Relocation to San Antonio, TX 78238 before starting work is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one patient care in a home environment.
- Execute physicians’ prescribed plans of care and document care provided in the system of record in a compliant manner.
- Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and therapies.
- Provide health-promotion teaching and train family members.
