About The Position
BrightStar Care is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse to provide personalized, one-on-one nursing care in patients’ homes throughout Humble, Texas, and nearby communities. The LVN works closely with physicians, caregivers, and the clinical team to support patient safety, comfort, independence, and quality of life. Assignments are available during the day, evening, and overnight, as well as on weekends. BrightStar Care offers flexible scheduling, weekly pay through direct deposit, continuing education opportunities, career advancement, referral bonuses, and electronic charting systems. Requirements
- Active Texas Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license.
- Current in-person CPR/BLS certification.
- Valid Texas driver’s license.
- Active auto insurance.
- Recent TB test or chest X-ray.
- At least one year of nursing experience in home health, a clinic, or another healthcare setting.
- Demonstrate compassion, integrity, professionalism, and commitment to patient-centered care.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient conditions.
- Administer medications and treatments.
- Monitor patient progress.
- Educate patients and family members.
- Communicate clinical updates to support continuity of care.
- Provide one-on-one nursing care tailored to each patient’s needs.
- Work closely with physicians, caregivers, and the clinical team.
