About The Position
BrightStar Care is seeking compassionate and dependable home care caregivers to provide personalized, one-on-one support to clients in Humble, Texas, and nearby communities. The role focuses on helping clients live safely and independently at home while maintaining their dignity, confidence, and quality of life. Caregivers also provide reassurance and peace of mind to clients’ families through kindness, patience, and professionalism. Opportunities may be full-time or part-time, with day, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts. Assignments typically range from 4 to 12 hours, and scheduling is flexible. Caregivers receive ongoing training and support from a responsive office team.
Requirements
- At least two years of caregiving or healthcare experience.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Valid Texas driver's license.
- Reliable transportation and current auto insurance.
- Recent TB test or chest X-ray.
- Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds when necessary.
- Demonstrate compassion, dependability, respect, and commitment to high-quality care.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance, companionship, meal preparation, medication reminders, mobility support, transportation, and light housekeeping according to clients’ needs.
- Help clients maintain their dignity, confidence, safety, independence, and quality of life at home.
- Offer supportive, professional care that provides reassurance and peace of mind to clients’ families.
