About The Position

Travel LPNs assigned to Illinois earn up to $2,165/week including non-taxed weekly stipend. Must live 90+ miles from the facility. Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive services to the Illinois Department of Corrections. We are currently seeking a Full-time Evening Traveling Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Centurion Eagles Travel Team at Logan Correctional Center located in Lincoln, Illinois. Our travelers have opportunities throughout the country and are full-time, benefit-eligible Centurion employees. The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients while working under the direction of Registered Nurses (RN) and medical and psychiatric staff, to respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs.

Requirements

Licensed LPN with an active license to practice in Illinois
Must live 90 miles or more from correctional facility.
Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLS
Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check

Nice To Haves

Minimum of one year of work experience as an LPN in a community outpatient clinic, hospital or long-term care facility preferred
Corrections experience preferred
Previous travel nursing experience preferred

Responsibilities
