About The Position

Centurion is seeking a full-time Travel Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Centurion Eagles Travel Team at Logan Correctional Center in Lincoln, IL. This role is part of a national travel program, offering opportunities across the country. Travel RNs assigned to Illinois can earn up to $2685/week, including a non-taxed weekly stipend. The position requires the RN to live at least 90 miles from the selected facility. The Travel Program RN will work at various facilities/locations throughout Illinois, based on contract needs, with each assignment restricted to a single location. The RN is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within their scope of practice to incarcerated patients, working under the direction of the Director of Nursing and/or Nursing Supervisor. They will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to assess and respond to the physical, psychological, and social needs of patients.

Requirements

Licensed RN with an active license to practice in Illinois.
Minimum of one year of work experience as an RN in a community outpatient clinic, hospital or long-term care facility.
Must live 90+ miles from the selected facility.
Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLS.
Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check.

Nice To Haves

Corrections experience preferred.
Previous travel nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities
