About The Position

Centurion is seeking a full-time Travel Licensed Practical Nurse to join the Centurion Eagles Travel Team at Stateville Correctional Center in Crest Hill, IL. This role involves providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients, working under the direction of Registered Nurses and medical/psychiatric staff. Travel LPNs assigned to Illinois can earn up to $2,165/week, including a non-taxed weekly stipend. Candidates must live 90+ miles from the facility. Our travelers are full-time, benefit-eligible Centurion employees with opportunities throughout the country. The Eagle (Travel team) LPN will work at various facilities/locations throughout the state of Illinois, per contract needs, with each assignment restricted to one location.

Requirements

• Licensed LPN with an active license to practice in Illinois.
• Must live 90+ miles from the facility.
• Minimum of one year of work experience as an LPN in a community outpatient clinic, hospital or long-term care facility.
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLS.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check.

Nice To Haves

• Corrections experience preferred.
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred.
