Travel Eagle Licensed Practical Nurse (82275)
About The Position
Centurion is seeking a full-time Travel Licensed Practical Nurse to join the Centurion Eagles Travel Team at Western Illinois Correctional Center in MT. Sterling, IL. This role involves providing holistic nursing care within the scope of practice to incarcerated patients, working under the direction of Registered Nurses and medical/psychiatric staff to address physical and behavioral health needs. Travel LPNs assigned to Illinois can earn up to $2,165/week, including a non-taxed weekly stipend. Assignments will be at various facilities/locations throughout the state of Illinois, but each assignment will be restricted to one location. The position requires the nurse to live 90+ miles from the facility.
Requirements
- Licensed LPN with an active license to practice in Illinois.
- Must live 90+ miles from the facility.
- Minimum of one year of work experience as an LPN in a community outpatient clinic, hospital or long-term care facility.
- Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLS.
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check.
Nice To Haves
- Corrections experience preferred.
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred.
