About The Position

This is a travel assignment for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Utica, New York. The assignment is for 13 weeks, with a start date of 09/29/2026. Requirements

Active NY LPN license; Nursys verification with an active license
Current BLS certification
Minimum 1 year of LTC experience; travel experience documented on resume
EMR experience with PointClickCare
Ability to float within the same building as needed
Valid driver’s license with address matching demographics
Up-to-date resume including LTC experience and travel history
RTO (reasonable time off) must be included at the time of submission

Responsibilities

Administer medications and treatments per physician orders, ensuring accuracy and timely documentation in the EMR (PointClickCare)
Monitor residents’ condition, perform routine assessments, and respond promptly to changes in status
Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) and provide safe, compassionate nursing care
Document input/output, vital signs, and care plans; communicate changes to the interdisciplinary team
Support wound care, routine procedures, and therapy plans as directed; coordinate with PT/OT as needed
Adhere to infection control, safety protocols, and resident education to promote well-being
