About The Position

This is a travel assignment for a Licensed Practical Nurse in Long Term Care located in Bethel, Alaska. The assignment is for 13 weeks, starting on 09/29/2026, with guaranteed 32 hours per week. The role involves providing patient care in a healthcare setting and supporting nursing staff.

Requirements

Graduate from an LNL school for LPNs or LVNs.
Current Alaska LPN license in good standing.
Current Alaska RN license in good standing.
Current CPR certification (BCLS).
Current BLS.
All travelers must show proof of completed COVID-19 vaccination.
Ability to pass and maintain position-specific competencies.

Nice To Haves

Preferred one year hospital experience.
IV certification (preferred).
Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Certification (preferred).

Responsibilities

Provide quality nursing care to all patients within the scope of practice, respecting patient rights and dignity.
Collaborate with nursing staff; assist in stocking rooms and completing checklists; help with ordering medical supplies as needed.
Screen calls over the phone and, when necessary, assist mid-level clinicians after hours.
Apply age-specific considerations and cultural sensitivity in patient care across the lifespan.
Maintain competency, adapt to assigned areas, and support the mission of the health system.
