About The Position

Centurion is seeking a Full-time Traveling Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join their Centurion Eagles Travel Team. This role will involve working in correctional facilities across the state of Georgia. The LPN will provide holistic nursing care within their scope of practice to incarcerated patients, working under the direction of Registered Nurses and medical/psychiatric staff to address physical and behavioral health needs.

Requirements

• Georgia LPN license or ability to obtain license
• Compact Licensure preferred
• Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the assigned facility.
• Candidates cannot maintain a primary residence in the state of Georgia.
• At least two (2) years of LPN experience
• Must have open availability to travel throughout the state of Georgia as needed per contract needs
• Current CPR
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check

Nice To Haves

• Corrections experience not required, but preferred
• Previous travel nurse experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients.
• Working under the direction of Registered Nurses (RN) and medical and psychiatric staff.
• Responding to a range of physical and behavioral health needs.
