Travel Licensed Practical Nurse
About The Position
Centurion is seeking a full-time Evening Travel Licensed Practical Nurse to join their Centurion Eagles Travel Team at Roxbury Correction Institution located in Hagerstown, MD. The LPN will work between various facilities/locations throughout the state of Maryland, per contract needs, with each assignment restricted to one location. The LPN is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients while working under the direction of Registered Nurses (RN) and medical and psychiatric staff, to respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs.
Requirements
- Licensed LPN with an active license to practice in Maryland
- Must live 50 miles from facility.
- Minimum of one year of work experience as an LPN in a community outpatient clinic, hospital or long-term care facility
- Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLS
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
Nice To Haves
- Corrections experience preferred
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred
