About The Position

Licensed Practical Nurse needed for a travel assignment in a long-term care setting in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This 11-week contract starts on 09/01/2026 and offers 36 guaranteed hours per week, with a nightly shift pattern of 3x12 hours (18:00–06:30). Weekly pay ranges from $803 to $864 per week. Employment type is Travel - Temporary Assignment through Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Requirements

Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license; licensure valid in New Mexico
Completion of a practical nursing program (LPN diploma or equivalent)
Ability to work night shift and adapt to a 12-hour nocturnal schedule
Prior experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing setting preferred
CPR/BLS certification or ability to obtain
Must be able to work in a fast-paced, resident-focused environment and collaborate with a diverse care team

Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting under supervision and according to care plans
Monitor, assess, and document vital signs, symptoms, and changes in resident condition; administer medications and treatments per physician orders
Support activities of daily living (ADLs) and promote resident safety and comfort
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in charting systems; communicate changes to the charge nurse and shifts
Uphold infection control practices, safety protocols, and quality-of-care standards during night shifts
