About The Position
This is a travel - temporary assignment for a Licensed Practical Nurse in a long-term care setting in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The assignment is for 6 weeks, starting on 09/01/2026, with 36 guaranteed hours per week. The position features 12-hour shifts from 06:00 to 18:30. Weekly pay ranges from $652 to $695.
Requirements
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in New Mexico.
- CPR/BLS certification.
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts (06:00–18:30) and meet guaranteed hours.
- Strong communication and documentation skills; comfortable with electronic record-keeping.
- Local candidate with legal ability to work in the United States.
Nice To Haves
- Prior long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct resident care under supervision of RNs and physicians, including routine nursing tasks.
- Assess resident condition, monitor vital signs, and document changes in the medical record.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with policy and scope of practice.
- Assist with activities of daily living, mobility, and patient safety to support independence and comfort.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans; communicate changes promptly.
- Maintain infection control, safety, and high-quality care standards; ensure accurate MAR/medication administration records.
