About The Position

This is a travel assignment for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Long Term Care located in Albuquerque, NM. The assignment is for 11 weeks, starting on 09/01/2026, with a shift of 3x12 Nights (18:00–06:30). The setting is a Skilled Nursing Facility that provides long-term care. The role involves delivering direct patient care, administering medications, monitoring residents, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.

Requirements

Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
Local candidates only; ability to work in Albuquerque, NM
Availability for night shift (12-hour shifts) and 3x weekly schedule
Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills

Nice To Haves

Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing settings preferred
Basic life support (BLS) certification preferred

Responsibilities

Deliver direct patient care to residents per individualized care plans and facility policies
Administer prescribed medications and treatments; ensure accurate documentation
Monitor vital signs and general health status; recognize and report changes promptly
Respond to call lights; assist with activities of daily living and mobility as needed
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to update care plans and ensure safety
Maintain accurate records in the electronic health record and uphold infection control standards
