Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Weekend Option
About The Position
American Senior Communities is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for the weekend option at Columbia Healthcare Center. The role offers a day shift or night shift. Nurses develop meaningful relationships with residents and staff by learning their life stories and use their nursing skills to promote residents’ physical and psychosocial well-being. The LPN contributes to a comforting, engaging atmosphere and works collaboratively with nursing and other facility teams to provide coordinated, comprehensive care. The position calls for teamwork, leadership, and strong interpersonal communication to support excellent resident care and a respectful workplace.
Requirements
- Current and valid Licensed Practical Nurse license in the state of Indiana.
- Proficient medication management skills.
- Ability to conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in resident condition.
- Strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work toward a common goal of excellent care for residents.
- Demonstrates C.A.R.E. values: Compassion, Accountability, Relationships, and Excellence.
Responsibilities
- Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents.
