Licensed Practical Nurse LPN Weekend Option
About The Position
American Senior Communities is seeking a Weekend Option Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for the night shift at Glenbrook. In this role, you will build meaningful relationships with residents and staff by learning their life stories and use your nursing skills to support residents’ physical and psychosocial well-being. The role is supported by the company’s clinical standards and established care processes. The LPN helps create a comforting, engaging atmosphere; promotes teamwork; collaborates with nursing and other facility teams to coordinate care; and communicates respectfully with residents, families, customers, and staff. The position calls for a strong commitment to geriatric nursing and to American Senior Communities’ C.A.R.E. values: Compassion, Accountability, Relationships, and Excellence.
Requirements
- Current and valid Licensed Practical Nurse license in the state of Indiana.
- Proficient medication management skills.
- Ability to conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in resident condition.
- Strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
