About The Position

Adoration Private Duty is seeking a dedicated Private Duty Licensed Practical Nurse to provide patient-centered skilled nursing care in Brownsville, Tennessee. The nurse provides one-to-one care in the patient's home, following the patient's plan of care and supporting the patient's dignity and independence. The role includes administering medications and feedings, providing oxygen and ostomy care as needed, documenting care and outcomes, coordinating supplies, and communicating with the patient's family, case manager, and physicians. The position is full-time, with flexible scheduling options noted.

Requirements

• LPN/LPT/LVN degree from an accredited college of nursing.
• Current unrestricted registration and license in the state of practice.
• Valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, and proof of car insurance.
• Professional CPR certification.

Nice To Haves

• At least one year of nursing experience is preferred.
• Home Health care experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one care in accordance with the client's plan of care while maintaining the client's dignity and independence.
• Administer medications and feedings, and provide oxygen and ostomy care as needed according to the plan of care; assess and report results.
• Accurately document nursing care, communications, progress, and outcomes related to established goals.
• Inform the physician, case manager, and family of changes in the client's medical condition and needs.
• Coordinate or order supplies, medications, and feedings to maintain adequate availability.
• Ensure patient needs are met in accordance with physician instructions.
