About The Position

Adoration Private Duty is seeking a dedicated Private Duty Licensed Practical Nurse to provide patient-centered, one-to-one care to a client in Dyer, Tennessee. The office location is Martin, Tennessee. This full-time role involves following the client’s plan of care, supporting the client’s dignity and independence, and coordinating with family members, case managers, physicians, and the care team. Nurses may work independently while receiving team support.

Requirements

• LPN/LPT/LVN degree from an accredited college of nursing.
• Current unrestricted registration and license in the state of practice.
• Valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and proof of car insurance.
• Professional CPR certification.

Nice To Haves

• At least one year of nursing experience preferred.
• Home health care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one care according to the client’s plan of care while maintaining the client’s dignity and independence.
• Administer medications, feedings, oxygen, and ostomy care as needed under the plan of care, and assess the results.
• Document nursing actions, care provided, communications, progress, and outcomes for established goals.
• Inform the physician, case manager, and family of changes in the client’s medical condition and needs.
• Coordinate or order supplies, medications, and feedings to maintain adequate supplies.
• Ensure patient needs are met in accordance with physician instructions.
