About The Position

CLFC Healthcare and Communications is hiring a per diem Licensed Practical Nurse at Wayne County’s 192-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility in Lyons, New York. The onsite facility is rated High Performing in Long-Term Care by U.S. News Best Nursing Homes 2025 and has an RN on every shift. LPNs manage medications and treatments on their unit and work with residents and facility leadership. The role is W-2 hourly, with nurses choosing their own availability and shifts; there is no minimum number of hours. Shifts are available any day of the week, including eight-hour shifts and, when available, twelve-hour shifts. Eight-hour shifts include a half-hour unpaid meal break. Orientation is paid at the employee’s rate, and pay is issued weekly. Compensation is $38.00–$42.00 per hour, with experience determining the rate within the range. Night and weekend shifts are paid at the top of the range. Overtime over 40 hours and all ten County holidays are paid at time and a half. If the facility cancels a confirmed shift two hours or less before it begins, the employee is paid for four hours. The position includes reimbursement for New York license and CPR renewals, support for continuing education and certifications, tuition assistance of up to $1,500 per year toward an RN, and a $500 referral bonus for bringing a nurse or aide onto the roster. Fingerprinting, immunizations, screening, and license verification are arranged and paid for by CLFC. Paid sick leave accrues under New York law, and CLFC professional liability insurance covers each shift. Open shifts are posted in the BRIDGE App, where employees select shifts and receive confirmation. The app also stores license and certification information and provides expiration reminders. A Program Manager is available to assist with scheduling and pay questions. CLFC staffs nursing and clinical roles for government healthcare clients and may consider rostered nurses for future assignments. The role is onsite at the facility in Lyons, New York.
