About The Position

Brown County Health and Living is hiring Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for night-shift roles. At CarDon and Associates, LPNs provide high-quality resident care, assist with residents’ daily activities, and help ensure their comfort and well-being. They collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans, monitor residents’ health, administer medications, and educate residents and their families. The role contributes to residents’ quality of life and supports their health goals. Requirements

Current and valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Indiana.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Nice To Haves

Experience in a long-term care or assisted living environment.
Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Responsibilities

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the healthcare provider.
Monitor and record vital signs, and report changes in residents’ conditions to nursing staff.
Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date resident records and documentation.
Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans.
Provide education to residents and their families.
Support residents’ comfort, well-being, and health goals.
