About The Position
This is a travel assignment for a Licensed Practical Nurse in Long Term Care in Bennington, Vermont. The contract is for 13 weeks, starting on 09/02/2026. The position guarantees 40 hours per week with a night shift schedule (11:00 PM–7:30 AM) in a skilled nursing facility. The weekly pay ranges from $1,757 to $1,868.
Requirements
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse license in Vermont (or eligible to practice in VT).
- Ability to work night shifts and commit to a 13-week travel assignment with guaranteed hours.
- Experience in or comfortable working within a long-term care/Skilled Nursing setting.
- Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills.
- Eligibility for travel assignments and adherence to facility policies and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Administer prescribed medications and document administration according to facility policy.
- Monitor residents’ health status, perform vital signs and assessments, and report changes to the supervising RN.
- Provide direct patient care including activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, ambulation, and feeding assistance.
- Support wound care, dressing changes, and basic treatments as delegated by the care team.
- Maintain accurate charting in the electronic health record; document intake and output, falls, and incidents.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to implement and adjust care plans; respond to emergencies as needed.
