About The Position

This is a travel temporary assignment for a Licensed Practical Nurse in a long-term care nursing home setting in Clovis, New Mexico. The contract duration is 6 weeks, with guaranteed hours of 33 per week. The shift is 12-hour nights, from 18:00 to 06:30, working 3 shifts per week. This is a local-only assignment.

Requirements

Active Licensed Practical Nurse license in New Mexico (or eligibility as allowed by state regulations).
Ability to work night shifts (18:00–06:30) and perform 12-hour shifts.
CPR/BLS certification (or as required by the employer) and ability to meet facility policies.
Eligibility to work in the United States; ability to fulfill a local-only assignment in the listed location.

Prior experience in long-term care or skilled nursing settings preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting under supervision of a registered nurse or charge nurse.
Administer prescribed medications and treatments per facility policy and state regulations; document administration accurately.
Monitor residents’ health status, perform routine assessments, record vital signs, and promptly report changes to the supervising nurse.
Assist with activities of daily living, mobility, hygiene, and safety; perform basic wound care as ordered.
Maintain accurate documentation in resident records; uphold infection control practices and resident privacy standards; participate in care planning with the interdisciplinary team.
