About The Position

This travel assignment is for a Licensed Practical Nurse in Long Term Care in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The contract is for 12 weeks, starting on 08/29/2026, with a structured schedule of 3x12-hour day shifts per week, totaling 36 guaranteed hours. The role is situated in a Long-Term Care (LTC) - Nursing Home setting, designed to provide stable coverage.

Requirements

Active, unrestricted LPN license to practice in New Mexico.
Experience in long-term care or geriatric patient care preferred.
Ability to perform 12-hour shifts and meet guaranteed hours per week.
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a care team.
Adaptability to a fast-paced, resident-centered LTC environment and commitment to resident safety and quality of care.

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse, including monitoring health status, administering prescribed medications, and delivering routine treatments.
Assess and document patient conditions, vital signs, and changes in status; report clinically significant findings to the supervising RN promptly.
Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) and basic comfort measures while promoting dignity and independence.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the patient charting system and ensure patient safety through proper device management and infection control.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans; respond to emergencies and ensure smooth patient transitions.
