Requirements

• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Availability for a 5x8 rotating schedule (evenings/nights mixture) and 40 hours per week
• Willingness to participate in a 13-week travel assignment in Harvey, ND
• Ability to work effectively in a hospital setting providing long-term care services

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a long-term care or acute care environment is preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents within a long-term care context under supervision of registered nurses and physicians
• Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and intramuscular/IV therapies according to orders and facility policy
• Monitor vital signs, assess patient status, and promptly report changes to the supervising team
• Assist with activities of daily living, mobility, and safety, supporting residents’ functional independence as able
• Document care provided, outcomes, and any changes in patient condition in the electronic or paper chart
• Collaborate with nursing and interdisciplinary teams to develop and update individualized care plans
• Adhere to infection prevention and safety protocols and ensure a clean, safe care environment
