Full-Time Day Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Cura of Sauk Centre
About The Position
Cura Health is seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide essential nursing care under the supervision of Registered Nurses and physicians at Cura of Sauk Centre. The role supports safe, effective, and personalized care in a patient-centered environment, with nurse-to-resident ratios between 1:10 and 1:22. The LPN monitors patient conditions, administers medications, provides wound care, and collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to support optimal health outcomes. The position offers 12-hour shifts and every-third-weekend scheduling. Starting wage is $27.75 per hour. A sign-on bonus of up to $1,500 is offered for a full-time position.
Requirements
- Hold a valid and current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license, or be a recent graduate who will obtain an LPN license within four months.
- Complete an accredited nursing program.
- Have strong knowledge of nursing care practices, medication administration, and patient safety protocols.
- Be eligible to work in the United States.
- Be flexible to work various shifts, including 12-hour shifts, every third weekend, and holidays.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing is preferred.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with patients, families, and healthcare staff are preferred.
- Ability to work under supervision and as part of a multidisciplinary team is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide routine nursing care, including monitoring vital signs, administering injections, and managing wound care.
- Assist with patient assessments and promptly report changes in patient status to Registered Nurses or physicians.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.
- Document nursing care and patient information accurately and promptly.
- Support patients with activities of daily living and ensure their comfort and safety.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Maintain compliance with infection control standards and healthcare regulations.
