About The Position
Cura Health is seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to provide essential nursing care at Cura of Sauk Centre under the supervision of Registered Nurses and physicians. The role focuses on safe, effective, and personalized patient care, monitoring patient conditions, administering medications, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to support patient health, comfort, and well-being. Flexible scheduling is offered to support work-life balance. The starting wage is $27.25 per hour. A sign-on bonus of up to $750 is available for a part-time position.
Requirements
- Hold a valid, current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license, or be a recent graduate who will obtain an LPN license within four months.
- Complete an accredited nursing program.
- Have strong knowledge of nursing care practices, medication administration, and patient safety protocols.
- Be eligible to work in the United States.
- Be flexible to work various shifts, including 12-hour shifts, every third weekend, and holidays.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing is preferred.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills for interacting effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff are preferred.
- Ability to work under supervision and as part of a multidisciplinary team is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide routine nursing care, including monitoring vital signs, administering injections, and managing wound care.
- Assist with patient assessments and promptly report changes in patient status to Registered Nurses or physicians.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to established protocols and guidelines.
- Document nursing care and patient information accurately and promptly.
- Support patients with activities of daily living and help ensure their comfort and safety.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Maintain compliance with infection control standards and healthcare regulations.
