About The Position
Cura Health is seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join its healthcare team at Cura of Sauk Centre. The LPN provides essential nursing care under the supervision of Registered Nurses and physicians, supporting safe, effective, and personalized patient care. The role includes monitoring patient conditions, administering medications and treatments, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to support patient health outcomes, comfort, and well-being. Flexible scheduling is offered to support work-life balance.
Requirements
- Hold a valid, current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license, or be a recent graduate who will obtain an LPN license within 4 months.
- Complete an accredited nursing program.
- Have strong knowledge of nursing care practices, medication administration, and patient safety protocols.
- Be eligible to work in the United States.
- Be flexible to work various shifts, including 12-hour shifts, every third weekend, and holidays.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing is preferred.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with patients, families, and healthcare staff are preferred.
- Ability to work under supervision and as part of a multidisciplinary team is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide routine nursing care, including monitoring vital signs, administering injections, and managing wound care.
- Assist with patient assessments and promptly report changes in patient status to Registered Nurses or physicians.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to established protocols and guidelines.
- Document nursing care and patient information accurately and promptly.
- Support patients with activities of daily living and ensure their comfort and safety.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Maintain compliance with infection control standards and healthcare regulations.
