About The Position

The Licensed Practical Nurse works in harmony with the nursing staff to provide high-quality, compassionate patient care. Under direct supervision, the LPN uses the state-specific Nurse Practice Act, Practice Guidelines, and nursing judgment to deliver nursing care to patients. The role involves collecting patient data, making observations, reporting pertinent information, and directing and supervising the care provided by other nursing staff as needed. Full-time day and night shifts are available.

Requirements

Must be a licensed LPN in good standing with the state, as required.
Reliable transportation is required.

Nice To Haves

At least 1 year of nursing experience in a long-term care facility is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Deliver nursing care to patients requiring care.
Collect patient data, make observations, and report pertinent information related to patient care.
Direct and supervise care provided by other nursing staff members as needed.
