About The Position
Cura of Sauk Centre is hiring Nursing Assistants in Training for people interested in becoming certified nursing assistants. The role provides hands-on experience while employees take CNA classes and prepare for exams. Cura offers CNA classes throughout the year with flexible scheduling, including evening and weekend classes, and pays for the course as well as employees while they attend it. The starting wage is $19.25. The position supports patients with daily care and comfort while working closely with nursing staff to help maintain a safe, clean, and supportive care environment.
Requirements
- Availability to take the CNA course.
- Eligibility to work in the United States.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to perform physically demanding CNA tasks, including lifting or repositioning patients, standing and walking for extended periods, and assisting with transfers.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
- Monitor and accurately document patients’ vital signs and health status.
- Provide compassionate support and comfort to patients and their families.
- Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety in patient care areas according to established protocols.
- Promptly report changes in patients’ conditions to the nursing team.
- Follow healthcare and safety regulations to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
