About The Position

The Housekeeper/Laundry Aide is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents, staff, and visitors. The role includes cleaning resident rooms and common areas and collecting, sorting, washing, drying, folding, and delivering clean linens and resident clothing. The Housekeeper/Laundry Aide follows infection control and safety procedures and works as part of a team to provide a welcoming environment for residents.

Requirements

• Use standard cleaning equipment.
• Show initiative in determining cleaning needs.
• Communicate well and process information accurately.
• Follow instructions willingly, meet deadlines, and be punctual and dependable.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a neat overall appearance of surroundings.
• Clean resident rooms and common areas.
• Collect and sort laundry; wash, dry, fold, and deliver clean linens and resident clothing.
• Follow infection control and safety procedures.
• Adhere to Federal and State regulations and guidelines, including Resident Rights.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
