About The Position

Cura of Sauk Centre is hiring Nursing Assistants in Training for people interested in becoming certified nursing assistants. The role provides hands-on experience while employees take the CNA class and prepare for exams. Cura of Sauk Centre offers CNA classes throughout the year with flexible scheduling, including evening and weekend classes. The company pays for the course and pays employees while they take it. Starting wage is $19.25.

Requirements

• Availability to take the CNA course.
• Eligibility to work in the United States.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
• Ability to perform physically demanding CNA tasks, including lifting or repositioning patients, extended standing and walking, and assisting with transfers.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
• Monitor and accurately document patients’ vital signs and health status.
• Provide compassionate support and comfort to patients and their families.
• Collaborate with nursing staff to support high-quality patient care.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in patient care areas according to established protocols.
• Promptly report changes in patients’ conditions to the nursing team.
• Follow healthcare and safety regulations to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
