About The Position
Cura of Sauk Centre is seeking compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants to provide patient care and support nursing staff in maintaining a comfortable environment. The role contributes to high-quality care through teamwork, empathy, and attention to patient safety. The employer prioritizes safe patient-to-staff ratios. Full-time, part-time, and casual or PRN positions are available for day and evening shifts. Applicants without CNA certification may take CNA classes while working and being paid. The starting wage is $22.06 per hour, and full-time positions are eligible for a sign-on bonus of up to $750.
Requirements
- Current Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification or availability to take the CNA course.
- Eligibility to work in the United States.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to perform physically demanding CNA tasks, including lifting or repositioning patients, extended standing and walking, and assisting with transfers.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation settings.
- Basic knowledge of infection control and safety procedures.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
- Monitor and accurately document patients’ vital signs and health status.
- Provide compassionate support and comfort to patients and their families.
- Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety in patient care areas in accordance with established protocols.
- Promptly report changes in patients’ conditions to the nursing team.
- Follow healthcare and safety regulations to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
