About The Position
Community Care, Inc. is hiring a part-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide one-on-one pediatric private duty nursing care for a 1-year-old child in a supportive home setting in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (Carrick). The role is scheduled Monday through Wednesday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, and focuses on personalized, family-centered care.
Requirements
- Current LPN or RN license in Pennsylvania.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- At least 6 months of nursing experience; home health experience is preferred but not required.
- CPR certification.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- A caring, independent approach and a passion for pediatric care.
Nice To Haves
- Home health nursing experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs).
- Provide G-tube care and feedings, and follow aspiration precautions.
- Monitor vital signs.
- Monitor seizures.
- Administer medications safely and accurately.
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with the care team and family.
- Deliver exceptional, family-centered pediatric care.
