About The Position
Community Care, Inc. is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide one-on-one pediatric private duty nursing care for an 11-year-old child in a supportive home setting in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The role focuses on personalized, family-centered care and building a meaningful connection with the child and family. This is a full-time, weekday day-shift position, scheduled Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The nurse will support daily living needs, provide g-tube and trach/vent care, monitor vital signs, administer medications, and communicate with the family and care team. Community Care offers paid orientation and training, weekly pay, PTO, flexible scheduling, and clinical support.
Requirements
- Current LPN or RN license in Pennsylvania.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- At least 6 months of nursing experience.
- CPR certification.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Caring attitude, strong independence, and a passion for pediatric care.
Nice To Haves
- Home health experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs).
- Perform g-tube care and feedings.
