About The Position

This is a travel assignment for a Licensed Practical Nurse in Long Term Care in Honolulu, Hawaii. The assignment is for 13 weeks, beginning on 09/21/2026. The role involves working 40 hours per week on rotating shifts, with a guaranteed minimum of 32 hours, in a Short Term Acute Care Hospital setting.

Requirements

Active Hawaii LPN license prior to start of contract.
Graduate of an approved Practical Nursing program.
Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends.
Scheduled to 40 hours per week with a guaranteed minimum of 32 hours.
Prior LPN experience in a hospital or acute care setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

Administer prescribed medications and therapies in accordance with facility policy and maintain accurate documentation.
Monitor patient status, perform routine assessments, and report changes to the supervising nurse or physician.
Assist patients with activities of daily living, mobility, and comfort measures as needed.
Support care planning through documentation, timely charting, and coordination with the health care team.
Adhere to infection prevention, safety protocols, and patient privacy regulations; respond to clinical alarms and calls.
Participate in rotating shifts and weekend coverage as required to ensure continuous patient care.
