About The Position

Park Terrace Village is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a weekend option day-shift role, with an additional $8 per hour. The nurse will build meaningful relationships with residents and staff by learning their life stories and using nursing skills to support residents’ physical and psychosocial well-being. The role emphasizes compassionate senior care, coordinated teamwork, and the C.A.R.E. values of Compassion, Accountability, Relationships, and Excellence.

Requirements

• Current, valid Licensed Practical Nurse license in the state of Indiana.
• Proficient medication management skills.
• Ability to conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in resident condition.
• Strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrates Compassion, Accountability, Relationships, and Excellence.

Responsibilities

• Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents.
• Promote teamwork within the care team to meet residents’ needs.
• Collaborate with nursing staff and other facility teams to coordinate comprehensive care.
• Work with the team toward excellent care for residents.
• Support a respectful and positive work environment through interpersonal communication.
• Manage medications proficiently.
• Conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in residents’ conditions.
• Demonstrate C.A.R.E. values to residents, family members, customers, and staff.
