About The Position
Licensed Practical Nurse – Long Term Care in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This is a travel assignment in a skilled nursing facility. The contract duration is 10 weeks, with a start date of 09/01/2026. The position offers guaranteed hours of 36 per week, with a shift of 3x12 Nights (19:00–07:30). Weekly pay is estimated between $851-$883 per week.
Requirements
- Active LPN license in New Mexico (or eligibility for licensure transfer)
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
- Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing settings preferred
- Ability to work night shifts and maintain consistent schedule
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a collaborative care team
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to residents in a long-term care setting.
- Administer prescribed medications and document administration accurately.
- Monitor patient conditions, vital signs, and respond to changes in status.
- Assist with activities of daily living and mobility support as needed.
- Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and the interdisciplinary team to update care plans.
- Document assessments, treatments, and outcomes in the resident’s chart and electronic records.
