About The Position

Wayne County's county-operated, 192-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility in Lyons, New York, is hiring per diem Licensed Practical Nurses. The facility is rated High Performing in Long-Term Care by U.S. News Best Nursing Homes 2025 and has an RN on every shift. LPNs provide medication passes and treatments on their assigned unit, with onsite leadership and RN support. This W-2 hourly position offers a schedule selected by the nurse, with no minimum hours. Open shifts are posted in the BRIDGE App; nurses select the shifts they want and receive confirmation. Shifts are available any day of the week, with eight paid hours per shift and a half-hour unpaid meal break. Listed shifts are 6:30 AM–3:00 PM, 2:30 PM–11:00 PM, and 10:30 PM–7:00 AM; twelve-hour shifts may be available. Pay is $38.00–$42.00 per hour, based on experience, with night and weekend shifts paid at the top of the range. Overtime over 40 hours and all ten County holidays are paid at time and a half. Employees are paid weekly, and orientation is paid at the employee's rate. If the facility cancels a confirmed shift two hours or less before its start, the employee is paid for four hours; shifts canceled with more notice are removed from the schedule. CLFC reimburses New York license renewal and CPR renewal, supports continuing education and certifications, and offers up to $1,500 per year in tuition assistance toward an RN. A $500 referral bonus is available for bringing a nurse or aide onto the roster. Fingerprinting, immunizations, screening, and license verification are arranged and paid by CLFC. Paid sick leave accrues under New York law, and professional liability insurance covers each shift. The role also includes access to CLFC University, a Program Manager for scheduling and pay questions, and consideration for future assignments on CLFC's roster. Program terms are provided in writing before acceptance.
