About The Position

Community Care, Inc. is hiring a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide one-on-one pediatric private duty nursing care for a 12-year-old child in a supportive home setting in Trafford, Pennsylvania. The role focuses on personalized, family-centered care and meaningful connection with the child and family.

The advertised schedule is Monday, Wednesday, and Friday for 3 hours per day, and Tuesday and Thursday for 5 hours per day. The posting also notes that nights and weekends are available. This position is described as part-time and day shift.

Requirements

• Current LPN or RN license in Pennsylvania.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• At least 6 months of nursing experience; home health experience is preferred but not required.
• CPR certification.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• A caring heart, strong independence, and a passion for pediatric care.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Provide G-tube care and feedings, including aspiration precautions.
• Monitor vital signs.
• Administer oxygen.
• Administer medications safely and accurately.
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with the care team and family.
• Deliver exceptional, family-centered pediatric care.
