About The Position

Valparaiso Care & Rehab is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide care for residents. Nurses use their skills to promote residents’ physical and psychosocial well-being while building meaningful relationships with residents and staff by learning their life stories. The role calls for a supportive presence, teamwork, leadership, collaboration, and respectful communication. Evening and night shifts are available. The stated earning potential is $34–$37 per hour. Requirements

Hold a current, valid Licensed Practical Nurse license in Indiana.
Have proficient medication management skills.
Be able to conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in residents’ conditions.
Have a strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence.
Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrate Compassion, Accountability, Relationships, and Excellence.

Responsibilities

Promote the physical and psychosocial well-being of residents.
