About The Position
Signature HealthCARE of Parkwood is a 106-bed skilled nursing facility providing services from short-term rehabilitation to traditional long-term care. The Licensed Practical Nurse delivers nursing services to patients and residents while maintaining high standards of quality and compassionate care. The role includes supervising the day-to-day activities of assigned nursing assistants and ensuring nursing personnel comply with facility policies and procedures and applicable standards, guidelines, and regulations. The position operates as required by the Director of Nursing. The role calls for an active nursing license in the state of residence, current CPR certification, strong attention to detail, organizational and prioritization skills, and technical, assessment, and documentation abilities. Requirements
- Active nursing license in the state of residence.
- Current/active CPR certification.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize, coordinate, and manage multiple projects while maintaining quality and productivity.
- Excellent technical, assessment, and documentation skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional nursing services to patients and residents while maintaining quality and compassionate care.
- Supervise day-to-day activities performed by assigned nursing assistants.
- Operate in accordance with Federal, State, and Local standards, guidelines, and regulations, and as required by the Director of Nursing.
- Confirm assigned nursing personnel comply with facility policies and procedures.
