About The Position
Interim HealthCare is hiring Licensed Practical Nurses to provide staffing support in long-term care facilities and/or assisted living settings. Positions are available on a PRN, part-time, or full-time contract basis. Nurses can create their schedules through the company app and work day, evening, or night shifts in 8-, 10-, or 12-hour increments. The role includes access to a 24/7 on-call Interim HealthCare staff member. Health insurance is available subject to one year of full-time status and other stipulations.
Requirements
- Hold an active Licensed Practical Nurse license in South Dakota, or be eligible through reciprocity or a multistate license.
- Maintain required certifications and qualifications and comply with associated standards.
- Be at least 18 years of age.
Nice To Haves
- Licensed Practical Nurse experience is highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist with patients’ daily activities.
- Pass medications, administer treatments, and provide wound care.
- Assist patients with ambulation, transfers, and range-of-motion exercises.
- Check vital signs.
- Observe patients for issues that may require a change in care, medication, or medical equipment.
