LPN - Private Duty Home Care
About The Position
BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with a passion for intentional, one-to-one care to join its Allegheny County skilled nursing team. The role provides private-duty nursing in clients’ homes, caring for one client at a time and building relationships while supporting clients’ milestones. Clients range in age from infants to geriatric adults. Traditional shifts are available in 4-, 8-, or 10-hour blocks, with flexible scheduling based on the nurse’s availability and client homes located near the nurse. The position includes weekly pay, PTO, and a nurse referral bonus. Benefits vary by employment type.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by a school transcript or diploma.
- A current nursing license in good standing in the state.
Responsibilities
- Travel to one client’s home near you on a schedule you choose.
- Follow up on, execute, and properly document doctors’ orders.
- Perform assessments and monitor clients’ conditions.
- Document observations, interventions, and evaluations.
- Provide hands-on, one-to-one care and build client relationships.
