The facility is rated High Performing in Long-Term Care by U.S. News Best Nursing Homes 2025 and has an RN on every shift. The role involves running medication passes and providing treatments on an assigned unit, with on-site leadership and support from the charge RN. This is a W-2 hourly per diem position with shifts selected by the nurse through the BRIDGE App. There is no minimum number of hours, and nurses may choose from shifts available any day of the week. Standard shifts are eight paid hours with a half-hour unpaid meal break, scheduled 6:30 AM–3:00 PM, 2:30 PM–11:00 PM, or 10:30 PM–7:00 AM; twelve-hour shifts may also be available. Pay is $38.00–$42.00 per hour, with experience determining the rate and night and weekend shifts paid at the top of the range. Pay is weekly. Overtime over 40 hours and all ten County holidays are paid at time and a half. Orientation is paid at the nurse’s rate. A confirmed shift canceled by the facility two hours or less before its start is paid for four hours. The position includes reimbursement for New York license renewal and CPR renewal, support for continuing education and certifications, and up to $1,500 per year in tuition assistance toward an RN. A $500 referral bonus is offered for bringing a nurse or aide onto the roster. Fingerprinting, immunizations, screening, and license verification are arranged and paid for by CLFC. Paid sick leave accrues under New York law, and CLFC professional liability insurance covers each shift.
