About The Position

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is an important member of the interdisciplinary team and delivers quality nursing care through interpersonal contact. The LPN provides care and services that help patients attain or maintain the highest practicable physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards. The role involves monitoring and reporting changes in patients’ conditions and assigning duties, instructing, and providing clinical supervision to CNAs.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited LPN program.
• Current license or registration in the applicable state.
• Maintain an active Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) license in good standing throughout employment.
• CPR certification upon hire or obtained during orientation, and maintained as current during employment.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
• Knowledge and competence in delivering quality nursing care.
• Excellent customer service and a positive attitude toward patients.

Nice To Haves

• One year of skilled nursing experience is preferred.
